Can you repair a coupler or do you replace it?
If the internal latch kit is broken, we can often rebuild it. If the metal housing is cracked or bent, we must replace the entire coupler for safety.
My pintle hook has "slop" in it. Is that bad?
Yes. Excessive play causes "trailer whip." We can install air-cushioned pintle hooks or replace the wear boosters to tighten up the ride.
